Quick Update –

As you know, Southern California, especially Ventura and LA County are in a state of emergency due to the fires. Currently, the Thomas fire, Santa Clarita and the Getty Center fire are the main concerns for everyone in SoCal. RED FLAG WARNINGS AND FIRE WEATHER WATCHES ARE THROUGH FRIDAY!!  As I discussed on Sunday night, this is the start of things to come.  We are in a serious situation weather wise for the next 20 to 30 days in California, as continued hot/very dry RH below 10%/windy conditions will persist, with no end in site. For those that have contacted me personally, please see the graphics below. This is the GFS Model forecast of winds tonight in so cal. This is at 34K feet. Therefore, if you are at sea level, you can knock off 50% of the winds. Tonight and tomorrow are going to be very bad for the Santa Ana’s. BE PREPARED FOR MORE FIRES!! 75 MPH GUSTS WILL OCCUR TONIGHT/TOMORROW
